Campervan FAQs

Read the most common questions we are asked about campervan conversions

What are the best vans to choose for converting?

There is no one male or model that we would recommend, because they are all good in their own ways. The best vans are very much based on customer preference – how you want to use the van will dictate which make and model will suit you best. We commonly convert Ford Transit, VW T5/T6, Renault Traffic, VW Crafter, Fiat Decato, Peugeot Boxers etc. Please get in touch if you need guidance on van choice.

How long do van conversions take?

A small van takes approximately 6-8 weeks. A large van takes approximately 12-16 weeks. We always endeavour to communicate regularly so you know how long your van will take to be completed. We will provide an estimated turnaround date at the time of booking so you can plan ahead.

How much does a typical van conversion cost?

All conversions are different, however you should expect a basic van conversion to start from £16,000 for a small van (typically including pop top, windows, electric, lining, kitchen, R&R bed). Large vans typically start from £22,000.

Will I be able to go off grid?

Yes, some vans can go off grid with the right kind of set up. If being able to go off grid is important to you, please let us know at the time of design.
