How do van conversions work?

We offer both full and part van conversions. What we do is definitely not a “one size fits all” method. Designing a van is a collaborative process, where you get to work closely with us for a camper that really ticks all the boxes. It’s a bespoke approach that means you get the full benefits of balancing comfort, functionality and aesthetics. We have converted 100s of vans, and know the pros and cons of all makes and models. Come and see us, or call the office to talk ideas with our team.

Step 1. Choose your van

Our customers come from all walks of life. Some come to us with an empty van, or a van that is halfway through a conversion. Others need a work van modified for a really specific industry, or purpose.

It’s our job to help you figure out how to include the best features to make sure your van conversion provides the best experience possible. We can start from scratch with an empty van, or finish a project that you have been working on already.

Step 2. Choose your campers internal design

Our team can help you choose the dream campervan design that will make your trips fun, practical and add value to your van. Book an appointment with our office to get a 3D mockup of your dream campervan. You’ll get to see exactly what your camper will look like at the end of the conversion. All of our campers are designed and built to each individual customers needs and camping requirements.

Step 3. Book your van conversion with our workshop

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had my first van converted at the Dub Hut and it was a fantastic experience. First of all don’t get fooled by the name, they converted my Renault trafic and I saw plenty of different vans in the workshop. It’s a family run business run by people who really care about what they are doing. They provide useful advice and guide you through the whole process. I wanted to do part of the conversion myself then I changed my mind about what I can do a thousand times and they accommodated me fully. The quality of the conversion is really top notch, especially the furniture that they cut at their workshop feels premium. I’d definitely recommend for your first van conversion.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had a pop top emergency where my pop top had come off alignment and was sticking out the side of the van. Booked in with The Dub Hut, turned up when they opened and they looked at it straight away and within 2 hours, I was back on the road with the pop top fully fixed. Spent the two hours being offered teas, coffees, waters and chatting with the staff about van conversions. Really nice bunch of people and great workmanship.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing people who helped me with identifying and fixing a gas leak from my coffee van. I needed the van back on the road ASAP, not sure what I would have done without their assistance. Highly recommended. Thank you 😊

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our experience with The Dub Hut has been absolutely fantastic, I could not speak more highly of the team there. From initial contact to figuring out the configuration of our conversion and what we wanted in the van, The Dub Hut have been exceptional. As total newbies, we were really thankful for Maria’s help as we worked out lots of the details. She and Callum were patient with the multiple questions we asked and changes we made and they were up for exploring the ideas we came up with. As a result the whole team have created the perfect van for us which we love. Thank you! They say dreams don’t come true but this dream did thanks to the team at The Dub Hut. 🚐 🥰 👌🏽
