As Christmas approaches and the hustle and bustle fills the air, our days are bustling with activity as we strive to get as many campers ready for our customers as possible. The chilly weather brings a surge in heater repairs and installations for those adventurous campers aiming to make the most of the Christmas and New Year Break by heading out in their campers for some quality family time.
We’re thrilled to have quite a few customers embarking on sunny escapades with their campers during Christmas—imagine a Christmas dinner on a Southern European beach, what an exciting adventure for them! Meanwhile, others are gearing up for skiing breaks in the Alps, taking advantage of the abundant snowfall, and with the advantage of taking their campers, they can take as much luggage as they want.
Recently, we’ve returned a food bank vehicle to a local charity, The Rainbow Centre, in Folkestone, extending food vouchers and supplies to those in need across Kent. Amidst all this, we’re consistently fitting Westdubs and Austop pop-tops every week and dedicating Fridays to window fitting works, which have been a huge success! Customers can drop off their vehicles in the morning and collect them later in the day, or hang out in the office with us, enjoying a hot chocolate and a chat. Those who stay usually join us for “Chippy Friday.”
Mid-December brings an exciting press release/photoshoot for a well-known UK Camper Magazine, where we’ll be offering insights and snapshots about us here at The Dub Hut. We’re eagerly looking forward to this opportunity and will be sure to let you all know when it is being published.
Our planned Christmas shutdown starts from 14:00 on Friday, December 22nd, and we’ll resume operations on Wednesday 3rd January 2024—rejuvenated and ready to continue converting campers for everyone’s enjoyment.
